SRMIST conducts the SRMJEEE entrance exam three times annually for BTech admissions. SRMJEEE 2025 exam started from April 22, 2025, and will continue till April 27, 2025. Check exam day guidelines before appearing for the exam.
Kolkata: SRMJEEE 2025 Phase 1 exam commenced today, April 22, 2025, with two slots daily, slot 1 from 10:00 AM to12:30 PM and Slot 2 from 02:00 PM to 04:30 PM. Candidates must log in 60 minutes early to upload a self-photograph, ID proof, and review instructions.
On SRMJEEE 2025 Phase 1 exam day, candidates will receive an access link via their registered email or mobile number to take the SRMJEEE 2025 RPOM (Remote Proctored Online Mode) test. They must click the link, carefully review all instructions, and download/install the SRMJEEE 2025 Safe Exam Browser before proceeding with the exam.
How to Start SRMJEEE 2025 Remote Proctored Online Test?
Follow the steps listed below to start SRMJEEE 2025 remote proctored online test:
Step 1: Candidates need to download the SRMJEEE 2025 safe exam browser.
Step 2: Run and install the browser, srmug.exe on the system in which they want to take the SRMJEEE exam. The browser will be available on the desktop after installation.
Step 3: Access the browser from the desktop and login with the username and password as given on the SRMJEEE admit card.
Step 4: Once logged in, candidates have to take a photo and their ID proof.
Step 5: Candidates have to select the question paper as per their choice of course in the next step.
Step 6: Candidates need to confirm their uploaded image in the SRMJEEE application form with the live-captured photo.
Step 7: Once confirmed, candidates will find exam instructions on next page. Read them and click on the I agree button.
Step 8: Candidates can then start the exam by selecting the section they wish to start first. Once they click the start button, the exam will start. A live countdown timer will be displayed on-screen. The system automatically terminates the test after a specified exam duration of 120 minutes.

Candidates must log in using their SRMJEEE admit card credentials and are required to join 60 minutes before the exam to upload a self-photograph, ID proof, and review instructions.
Only one question appears at a time. Candidates must either answer or skip it, once you proceed to the next question, you cannot return to review or modify previous answers.
The " I want to submit the exam " button activates only after 90 minutes.
Early exit is not permitted within 120 minutes. To close the exam, candidates must enter the mandatory quit password.
The system automatically terminates the test once the allotted time ends.

Candidates must take the test in a well-lit, private room free from distractions with sufficient light.
No other individuals are permitted in the room during the exam.
Sit facing the screen throughout the exam without looking away.
Take the test in a well-lit, private room with no distractions or other individuals present.
Keep only water if needed.
Do not leave your seat or take bio breaks during the exam.
Electronic devices like mobile phones, smartwatches, headphones etc, notes, or study materials are not allowed.
Do not wear sunglasses, or a face mask.
Avoid logging in via multiple devices or creating background noise.
Opening other tabs/apps, googling, or screen-switching are strictly prohibited.
